*As is now well-known, Tia Mowry is going through a divorce from her husband, Cory Hardrict. What may not be known is that she is all alone through the process with no shoulder to lean on. Those who know her family background may wonder why her twin sister is not by her side to offer moral support.
To explain why she is all alone, Tia has now shed some light on her relationship with her twin sister, Tamera Mowry. The celebrated actress opened up during an episode of her new reality show, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act.” She not only discussed her divorce from Cory but also her relationship with her twin sister.
The long and the short is that the twin sisters are not as close as they were in the womb. They hardly speak to each other. Tia said she wished she could pick up the phone and call Tamera, but, unfortunately, they are not “close right now.”
She said this even as she pointed out that the most challenging part about her divorce is feeling “alone.” It’s not clear why the twin sisters have got to a point they don’t call each other.

Tia also got to address the clip of her and Cory, which went viral following their awkward encounter at the “Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards” event. The two unexpectedly came face to face on the red carpet, and for a while, they didn’t know what to do with each other.
They managed to hug each other publicly for the first time since they announced their divorce.
A fan remarked on social media, “Not knowing whether to shake or hug your ex-wife is a scary place to be. From waking up together in love and living life beautifully to this!”
