*The post-divorce saga between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai is not coming to an end soon, judging by their utterances. And it’s hard to decide who is telling the truth.
In the latest episode of this drama, Jeannie accused Jeezy of not complying with the terms of their divorce. In court documents, she alleged that he owed her $92,000 in rent and wasn’t paying his portion of their daughter Monaco’s childcare. She then filed a petition for contempt against him.
The former “The Real” co-host also stated that her ex-husband failed to transfer the titles of a 2021 Range Rover and 2022 Ford Bronco to her name and failed to put half a million dollars into an account for Monaco as he promised. Jeezy, she added, also owes her $4,000 in tuition and childcare costs for their child.
Before you make a judgment, he filed a response, stating that it was “disheartening” that his ex-wife would “enumerate such blatant misrepresentations in her pleadings in an attempt to mislead and delude this honorable court.”
He also criticized her for bringing out portions of their agreement that should be sealed and private to the public. Regarding allegations that he owed her rent, he claimed she gave him four lease agreements that he could not verify and alleged that she didn’t pay him for “any amount of the four versions of the lease agreement.”
His lawyers finally verified the lease, but then Jeannie said she wanted to live somewhere else and that the home that she found was for sale.
“It became readily apparent to Jenkins that all of the lease agreements provided by [Jeannie] were fraudulent,” stated his attorney. “Based upon the foregoing, [Jeezy] is clearly of the belief that [Jeannie] is attempting to get reimbursed for a status quo housing allowance that she has never incurred, never needed, and never paid. [Jeannie] has always wanted Jenkins to simply pay her $25,000/month even though she has not paid any monthly rental payment for any month since she relocated from the former marital residence in California.”
As for the claim that he is not paying his portion of their daughter Monaco’s childcare, Jeezy said that he opened a bank account for Monaco with $50,000 and insisted he would pay for childcare if Jeannie provided him with receipts.
On the cars, he responded that he was still waiting for the local DMV to complete the paperwork for the Range Rover. He pointed out that Jeannie never turned up to pick up the Bronco in question once it was ready.
“[Jeannie’s] behavior is wanton, reckless, misleading, and criminal,” added the lawyer representing Jeezy.
We don’t know about you, but we don’t know who to believe! What we do know is that like countless others, these two should not have gotten married. At least not to each other.
