*Phew! It seems to us that a lot of folks have spent a lot of unnecessary energy weighing in on what NFLer Jonathan Owens (A/K/A “Simone Biles‘ husband”) all because he said he was the “catch” in their relationship.
Additionally, what also bothered some responders is that Owens swore up and down that he didn’t know who Biles was when they first met.
Owens made the comments on an episode of the “The Pivot Podcast” which debuted a week or so ago. Also, what most don’t realize is that Biles was with him when he said what he said and has ZERO problems with it.
Biles exposed her annoyance with all the chatter by posting on X (Twitter) by asking if folks were done debating her marriage to Owens: “Are y’all done yet?”

Meanwhile, Ryan Clark, one of “The Pivot Podcast” hosts weighed in on the situation by admonishing folks to calm down and ease up ’cause they are trippin’ out over nothing, basically, according to TMZ.
The ex-Steelers safety and also CBS Sports NFL analyst/commentator recorded a video addressing the backlash Owens is facing in the wake of an interview in which he described how he first met Biles, how they got together, and who he thought was the lucky one in the relationship.
Unfortunately, it came off, well, raggedy since he said he thought he was a catch for Simone — and that he didn’t necessarily “pull” her, but rather … she pulled him.
Owens’ excuse for saying he wasn’t aware of who she was can be attributed to the fact that he wasn’t tuned in to her Olympic run. He also says that it was Biles who initiated the meet-up on the Raya app and not the other way around. says she made the first move.
As Owens – who plays for the Green Bay Packers – was telling his story to Clark and his podcast cohosts, his wife, yes, Simone Biles, was in the room and wasn’t bothered one bit by his narrative.
To Simone and Jonathan NONE of what he said is even remotely a big deal to them which is why Ryan Clark felt it was necessary for him to chime in to let the outraged know they are wasting good air over nothing.
Now, Ryan himself is speaking up … and he’s got words for the collectively outraged: Jon and Simone are happily married and clearly in love. leave them alone! Watch below.
