*New details have surfaced from a search warrant affidavit filed this week in the murder case of Migos rapper Takeoff.

The affidavit was viewed by ‘New York Times’ reporter Joe Coscarelli who shared details of it on social media. Takeoff, whose name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot during a dice game outside a bowling alley in Houston on Nov. 1. An argument erupted after the game, and gunshots were fired. Two others were injured in the shooting.

“There was a lucrative dice game that went on at the event. There was an argument that happened afterwards outside the bowling alley, which led to the shooting,” said HPD Homicide Division Sgt. Michael Burrow, Fox 5 Atlanta reports. “I can tell you that Takeoff was not involved in playing in the dice game, he was not involved in the argument that happened outside. He was not armed.”

According to the affidavit, fellow Migos member Quavo got into an argument with two people after losing money to them during the dice game. Per Vlad TV, “One man, identified as Willie Bland, reportedly got into an altercation with one of the individuals Quavo lost his money to,” the outlet writes.

Coscarelli posted the affidavit on Twitter and noted that “both sides allegedly fired shots after a punch was thrown in defense of Quavo.” His tweet also claims one of the suspects was charged “bc of fingerprints left on a wine bottle he was holding during the shooting”.

Meanwhile, the man accused of killing Takeoff claims he is innocent.

Houston police arrested and charged 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark with the killing of the hip-hop starClark’s attorney said during a hearing last week that her client maintains his innocence, according to Billboard.

A judge has granted Clark $5,000 to hire an investigator to aid his defense. As reported by Complex, in his filing on Monday, Clark said he has “exhausted all finances to pay for his attorney who has agreed to a substantially reduced rate.”

On Friday, the court granted Clark’s motion to hire a P.I. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office will allow a private investigator to work with him to help clear his name and prove he is not the person who shot Takeoff.

Clark is currently jailed on a $2 million bond, according to multiple reports.
