*A police car in Detroit plowed through a crowd of anti-racism protesters on Sunday, sending some victims flying.
The incident took place at West Vernor near Dix, heading toward Clark Park, around 9:30 p.m, according to The Detroit News. Video shows demonstrators surrounding the cruiser and chanting. Then the officer is heard reving the engine a few times before taking off. Witnesses say around 12 people were hit by the vehicle, with several injured and requiring hospitalization.
The vehicle proceeded to move through the crowd before driving off with a protester on the hood. The video was shot by Michigan resident Ethan Ketner.
