*Remember that time back in 2012 when Maia Campbell sat down with Iyanla Vanzant to discuss her drug addiction and bipolar disorder issues (watch a clip, above)? Well, now we’re hearing the former 90s sitcom star got herself busted as part of a crackdown on street racing in Atlanta, according to reports.
Campbell, who starred alongside LL Cool J and Alfonso Ribeiro as Tiffany Warren in the 1990s hit show “In the House,” was one of 44 people arrested Saturday during the crackdown, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC).
Campbell, 43, was charged with being a pedestrian in the roadway, the AJC reported, citing police records.

Cops said the arrests were all “for activities related to street racing,” with 114 citations issued, 29 vehicles impounded and four firearms recovered, including a semi-automatic rifle.
Street racing has become a bigger problem because the coronavirus pandemic created “a perfect storm” for bored youngsters, Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos told the AJC.
“Their usual outlets — shopping, hanging out in a park — those were all eliminated by the stay-at-home orders,” Campos reiterated.
On the other hand, it was not immediately clear how Campbell was allegedly involved in the racing.
