Damon Dash Hits We TV with Lawsuit for Giving Recovering Addict Son Alcohol

Damon Dash, Boogie Dash

*Dame Dash has fired off a new lawsuit at We TV for allegedly reneging on an agreement not to allow his son Boogie to drink alcohol on “Growing Up Hip Hop.”

According to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Dash claims the network required Damon “Boogie” Dash to consume alcohol to increase ratings, even though they verbally agreed not to allow him to indulge, as Boogie has been struggling with alcohol addiction.

In the suit, the Roc-A-Fella cofounder claims his family’s suffered emotional distress as a result of Boogie drinking on the show.

In the docs, Damon admits there’s a court order directing We TV to divert all money to Dame’s creditors, but he claims We TV should not be withholding the dough, in this case, because the money’s owed to his third-party company, Poppington.

In related news, Dash is gearing up for another legal battle as he will be hitting court this month in the first round of hearings over a $50 million sexual assault lawsuit against him.

Dash has denied all of the allegations on his Instagram account, claiming attorney Chris Brown, who is representing the accuser, is an “extortion.”

“He is now trying to start the black Harvey Weinstein me too movement against me and he is representing another lawsuit with another allegation,” Dash wrote on IG. “#ChrisBrownTheLaywer I’m gonna deal with this on a beach in Hawaii… I will not be extorted… Check your mans collar at the end wait for it… More depositions with #ChrisBrownTheLayer coming soon!”

He also noted that Brown would “sell out our whole culture for a dollar,” and described him as a “culture vulture.”

A trial date for the sexual assault case has reportedly been set for June 24th.
