*in the wake of marrying Christian rapper J. Long, we hear that Cyntoia Brown now finds herself dead smack in the middle of his custody case with his son’s mother

Stacy Kirkland received the OK from a Texas Family Court judge for J. Long to have limited access to their son  J. Long as well as an injunction that bars Brown from even being around him, according to a Bossip report.

In court papers, Kirkland noted that Brown’s status as a convicted murderer has put her on edge, and she believes Long is so blinded by love that he won’t take the steps to keep the boy safe.

“I am extremely concerned about the safety of our young son, and do not believe that his father, Jaime, will take proper measures to protect (the boy) from danger,” Kirkland wrote in an affidavit.

Kirkland and Long, a former member of the R&B band Pretty Ricky, had a plan in place that was supposed to let one parent know if the other intended to marry or live with someone else.

Apparently it didn’t work out that way. Kirkland claims she had to find out from a 3rd party that Long was in a relationship with Brown. That motivated her to file a motion to change their son’s custody terms and seek a restraining order that would stop Brown from coming within 500 feet of their 11-year-old son.

She added that Long moved to Tennessee in February 2019 to be closer to Brown, who was released from state prison in August 2019.

According to Kirkland, Long only saw their child one day a month in 2018 and has barely spent time with him after he moved to Tennessee.

“I would love for Jaime to spend more time with (the child),” Kirkland wrote in an affidavit obtained by BOSSIP. “However, in light Jaime’s recent decision to enter into a romantic, committed relationship with a woman convicted of first-degree murder, I am extremely fearful.”

For whatever reason, Long never responded to Kirkland’s lawsuit. That means she wins and now Long will only have supervised visits with the child and isn’t allowed to have him in Brown’s presence. Additionally, the court order says that Long is barred from trying to hide the son, take him out of school or the state of Texas or discuss the case in front of him. If Long ignores the court order, he faces a $500 fine for each violation and six months in jail.

On top of that, the judge also upped Long’s child support to $527 a month, which includes $300 for the son’s health insurance, the order states.

Bossip also notes that Long’s custody case isn’t the only controversy associated with his marring Brown. He’s also got Pam Long from the 90s group Total to deal with. She’s accused him of abusing her during their one-year marriage. Long has denied her allegations.
