*Beyonce and Nipsey Hussle’s longtime partner Lauren London were among the celebs who posted tributes to the slain rapper and philanthropist on what would have been his 34th birthday on Thursday.
On Thursday, Beyonce, shared a black-and-white portrait of Nipsey on Instagram along with the quote: “The marathon will be televised for N.I.P. ’cause true kings don’t die, we multiply, peace. Happy Birthday in paradise.”
Hussle died on March 31 after being gunned down outside of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles. Eric Holder, accused of killing Nipsey, has pleaded not guilty to murder.

The singer’s birthday tribute comes after Lauren hopped on the ‘gram to pen a sweet message to Nipsey, writing:
“Today We celebrate You my beloved / Today we honor you King / We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life,” she wrote. “We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life. Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life. His Purpose still lives on with us all.”
“Long Live My other half / My beloved King,” said the post, accompanied by several photos of Hussle and one of London by a memorial for the rapper. “Ermias / Nip Hussle The Great! / I miss you / I love you,” she wrote.
Fans hoping to honor Nipsey Hussle on his birthday by leaving flowers and gifts outside Marathon have been blocked from doing so by a massive fence, complete with shading and barbed wire TMZ reports.
Earlier this month, an announcement from Marathon said the store would be enclosed by a gate “to start the early development stages of the forthcoming Nipsey Hussle tower to commemorate and honor the life and legacy of Nipsey.”
