*The Blackhouse Foundation has announced the schedule of panels for its 11th year at the Sundance Film Festival, per The Hollywood Reporter.
John Legend will join his fellow executive producers of “Monster” for a panel featuring its cast and crew. Participants include director Anthony Mandler, producers Tonya Lewis, Nikki Silver, Mike Jackson and Aaron L. Gilbert, as well as star Kelvin Harrison Jr. SAG-AFTRA Diversity Advisory Committee chair Jason George will moderate.
USA Network will sponsor the panel, “20 Years. Still Unsolved,” with the cast and creators of Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. Executive producer and director Anthony Hemingway, creator Kyle Long, music supervisor Lyah LeFlore, as well as cast will be on hand to discuss the new series.
Working with Color of Change and Planned Parenthood, the foundation will launch the “Women of Color in Hollywood” panel that will be moderated by CNN and NPR analyst Angela Rye.
In addition to the panel schedule, Blackhouse announced that BET will sponsor the Blackhouse Fellows Program, which brings 10 MFA students from Howard University.

The Blackhouse Foundation made its Sundance debut in 2007 when seven African-American films debuted at the fest. This year, 39 projects featuring African-American stories will be screened.
