*Stevie Wonder has settled a lawsuit with the widow of his former lawyer who claimed she was owed millions in royalties, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Susan Strack sued the music legend in 2015, claiming he agreed to pay her late husband, Johanan Vigoda, a 6 percent fee “forever” and that the fee would transfer to Vigoda’s heirs.
Because Wonder is blind, Vigoda would regularly read him contracts aloud before he signed off on them — including the one at issue here — according to the complaint.
On Thursday, the parties filed a joint stipulation requesting dismissal with prejudice.
“After long and complicated negotiations, and the much-appreciated patience of the Court, … [t]he Parties have entered into a fully executed Settlement Agreement with an effective date of July 31, 2017,” states the filing.
