*The food delivery service GrubHub is in the crosshairs of Donald Trump supporters after the company’s CEO made it clear that any employee who shares Trump’s values are not welcome and should tender their resignation.
In the letter to GrubHub staff (first obtained by Fox News), CEO Matt Maloney writes, “While demeaning, insulting and ridiculing minorities, immigrants and the physically/mentally disabled worked for Mr. Trump, I want to be clear that this behavior – and these views, have no place at GrubHub. Had he worked here, many of his comments would have resulted in his immediate termination.”
“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here. We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team,” adds Maloney.

Trumpsters who use the popular online food delivery service ran to social media…and the hashtag #boycottgrubhub was born.
The CEO of @Grubhub is openly discriminating against employees who voted for Trump. Leave a review for them in app store & #boycottgrubhub

Not accepting democracy and difference of opinion. How tolerant & high moral is that? It’s time to make #grubhub irrelevant #boycottgrubhub

Just like a child that doesn’t get his way, you have demonstrated why America got out and voted for REAL CHANGE. #boycottgrubhub

Boycott @Grubhub and don’t use them for discrimination. I already deleted their app and will never use again. #boycottgrubhub

Once the backlash ensued, Maloney clarified his comments in a statement on the Grubhub website where he indicates that what he meant is he won’t tolerate employees who don’t agree with Grubhub’s policy on hateful activity or commentary.
“Some of the statements in my email (please see full text below) have been misconstrued. I want to clarify that I did not ask for anyone to resign if they voted for Trump,” clarified Maloney in a statement. “I would never make such a demand. To the contrary, the message of the email is that we do not tolerate discriminatory activity or hateful commentary in the workplace, and that we will stand up for our employees. Grubhub welcomes and accepts employees with all political beliefs, no matter who they voted for in this or any election. We do not discriminate on the basis of someone’s principles, or political or other beliefs.”
Supporters of Matt Maloney also took to social media in a show of support.
@Grubhub @M3aloney I just bought stock in @Grubhub . I respect a CEO who will not tolerate a culture of harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

@espowill123 I don’t understand why @Grubhub can’t stand up for their convictions just as #mrtrump did?
