*Kanye West’s “Yeezy Season 3” show was a noteworthy event in itself, with the rapper’s latest shoe line on display amid a listening party for his much-anticipated album “The Life of Pablo.”
But it was Lamar Odom who grabbed just as much of the spotlight on Thursday as he made his first public appearance at the event since his near-fatal drug overdose late last year.
Odom was personally invited to attend the event by West himself as he looked healthy and happy walking side-by-side with the rhymeslinger while entering the show, which took place at Madison Square Garden.
To get to the Yeezy 3 show, Odom took a private jet with his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian on a red-eye flight to New York City Wednesday night.
“Lamar is very nervous to be making his first public appearance,” a source told E! News. “He spoke to Kim [Kardashian] and Kanye about their thoughts about him attending the Kanye show before, but it was Khloe’s ultimate decision.”
The insider adds, “Kanye personally invited him, but he wouldn’t make this huge appearance without the support and green light from Khloe…[She] is making all the calls on what Lamar is doing and who he speaks to this trip and won’t be leaving his side,” the insider added while noting that Kardashian and Odom have gotten so close that folks who were near them believe they will indeed get back together.
Right along with Lamar and Khloe, the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan(Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner) were all on hand at the Yeezy Season 3 show to show unwavering support for Lamar.
“The whole family is here supporting him today,” the source shared regarding the appearance of Lamar, who was spotted sitting between Kendall and Khloe during the show. As West’s played his album, the trio could be seen dancing.
