*Michelle Obama dropped jaws Sunday evening in a festive blue and black patterned gown to salute recipients at the 38th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington.
The strapless silhouette from Oscar de la Renta featured a black tulle base with a blue floral overlay.
FLOTUS, 51, also sported a new hairstyle, whisking it back in a slight pompadour, accented with pink lip color and statement earrings.
Hubby President Obama, 54, looked dapper in a custom tuxedo. He joined his wife at the Kennedy Center, arriving a tad bit late due to his address to the nation at 8 p.m. regarding terrorism.
The president was on time for the White House reception earlier at 5 p.m. for Honorees Carole King, Cicely Tyson, Rita Moreno, George Lucas and conductor Seiji Ozawa — the sixth honoree, The Eagles, have postponed their participation until 2016.
The show will be broadcast on CBS on Dec. 29.
