*Ultron, voiced by James Spader, does not discriminate in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” It wants to exterminate all of mankind, beginning with the Avengers.
This AI (Artificial Intelligence) Ultron, as strange as it may seem, was created with good intentions. Iron Man Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) wanted a creation that would protect the world, but the Ultron project went awry.
One of the funniest lines in the movie comes from a HYDRA villain: “Americans have sent in their circus freaks,” he quipped, referring to the Avengers sent in to avert total annihilate of the human race.
All the Avengers are back, including the prominent figure Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson)—whose role should have been bigger—Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, and Anthony Mackie.
There are also a host of blacks who make appearances: Bentley Kafu, Nondumiso Tembe, Anthony Acheampong, David Olawale Ayinde, Micah Ainsley Brown, Tino Chinyoka, Ibrahim Fagge, and Emeson Nwolie, to name a few.
This time around there is more bang for your buck, the usual comedy and a developing love story. The action is non-stop as the Avengers, under the helm of Joss Whedon, set out to save the world from the ominous AI robotic force that threatens to wipe out mankind.
Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, Stellan Skarsgård, Thomas Kretschmann, Cobie Smulders, and Tom Hiddleston also star.
