*It was only a matter of time before “Crying Piccolo Girl” ended up on somebody’s talk show.

Villanova pep band piccolo player Roxanne Chalifoux became an instant viral sensation after her team was upset by NC State on March 21 and she was caught on the Jumbotron in tears, but continuing to play her instrument – just like the band on the Titanic as it was sinking.

To make her feel better, Jimmy Fallon invited Chalifoux to perform the Villanova fight song alongside the Roots on “The Tonight Show.” To cheer her up even more, he called up Taylor Swift to get the girl a pair of tickets to her upcoming world tour.
