*Guyanese social media influencer Teisha Brewley was fatally shot Tuesday when the Uber she was riding in was ambushed in Atlanta.
According to WSB TV, Brewley, 30, worked at a strip club on Cheshire Bridge where she was picked up by an Uber driver who told police that two cars followed them from the strip club and began shooting at them.
Police believe it was a “targeted incident,” WSB TV reports. The shooting occurred near the corner of Lindbergh Drive and Adina Drive in the Buckhead neighborhood. Brewley was shot multiple times, but the Uber driver was not injured.
Police have released two 911 calls about the shooting, one of which was placed by the Uber driver.

“Somebody shot us,” said the Uber driver, who told dispatch that the victim was “still breathing.”
According to Atlanta News First, ADT security also called 911 on behalf of the man who ordered the Uber for Brewley.
“He stated he ordered an Uber for a friend who hasn’t arrived to his location yet and the driver’s location is showing to be in one spot for a long period of time,” the ADT caller said. “He said she was supposed to have arrived at his location by 4:31 a.m. and she had not.”
Brewley was shot less than a block away from her home, where she lived with her brother.
“This appears to be a targeted incident and as you can see from the number of shell casings, there were multiple shooters but again we don’t have a whole lot to give out right now,” APD’s Charles Hampton said.
As SandraRose.com reports, Brewley was an aspiring rapper who had beef with another Guyanese influencer named “Lola.”
The police have not named any suspects.
