*Smokey Robinson has released an album after 14 years in the shadows, but that isn’t the real news: the news is the title of the album, and the song titles therein.
The internet could not believe that the 82-year-old Smokey Robinson is releasing an album titled “Gasms.” More bewildering are the names of the songs making up the album. There are titles such as “You Fill Me Up,” and “I Fit in There.” Others are “I Wanna Know Your Body,” and “How You Make Me Feel,” among others.
When producer Brandon Williams tweeted the news and asked his followers to check the album’s tracklist, many Twitter users assumed he was joking.
“Please look at the names of these songs. Do it. Do it NOW,” read the tweet. He shared the cover of the album, with Robinson’s overtly sexual song names.

Ramaj Eroc, the “No Major, No Problem” music event creator was not amused.
“‘I fit in there’ isn’t even crazy…that’s INSANE,” Ramaj tweeted.
“Not this being real???” tweeted equally shocked music manager Ladidai.
Essayist Goldie Taylor commented with a meme of Tamar Braxton captioned, “Chiiillddd…”
Also in disbelief was writer and singer Elle Pierre.

This bewildering album is coming at a time people are yet to get over Robinson’s recent admission that he once had an intimate relationship with Diana Ross. In an interview with VladTV, the singer discussed his childhood friendship with Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross as they grew up in Detroit.
Their friendship blossomed into something more when they took on their careers. His affair with Diana Ross began after he was married.
“It lasted probably longer than it should because I was married at the time,” he said. “This happened later, after I got married, after I got them signed up at Motown. That’s when it started.”
“Gasms” album will be released on April 28. Its first single is titled “If We Don’t Have Each Other.”
And why did he choose this particular song as his first single of the new album?
“I chose this song as the first single of my new album because it’s different musically and has a slide dance feeling to it … which is different from what I’ve ever done before. It also has a current rhythm of today that I love, and I hope everyone else does too.”
