Damar Hamlin Receives NFLPA’s Alan Page Community Award – Doc Says He Can Play in NFL Again | WATCH

*Damar Hamlin was once again the center of attention Wednesday, this time for receiving a prestigious award in Arizona, this year’s site for the Super Bowl.

Specifically, the award was given to Hamlin in Arizona Wednesday (02-08-23) during the Super Bowl LVII festivities, with the side-lined player being joined by his parents on stage to receive the honor.

Hamlin told those at the event that giving back to his community has always been a big part of who he is as a person.

“Thankful to my father who is right here behind me, growing up and just watching him do community days in our community. I just was always waiting on my time when it came.”

In other news that came as shock to many observers who were convinced that the NFL will never allow Hamlin to play again, the NFLPA’s union doctor and medical director, Dr. Thom Mayer, has guaranteed that Damar Hamlin will play professional football again.

Dr. Mayer made his remarks while speaking on Sirius XM Doctor Radio’s “Heart to Heart” program today on Wednesday as well before Hamlin was honored with the Alan Page Community Award.
