*Lionsgate has suspended a “BMF” producer who threatened two writers picketing outside of the show’s set in Atlanta.

Writer Brian Egeston took to Twitter to call out producer Ian Woolf who he claims was behind the wheel of his SUV when he tried to plow into him and fellow writer Gabriel Alejandro Garza during the writers strike, Complex reports.

According to Egeston, he used the vehicle “as though it were a weapon and slammed the brakes within six feet of writers.”

Garza claims Woolf purposely accelerated while “looking directly at us the entire time and kept the vehicle pointed at us.”

Egeston called Woolf’s behavior a “scare and intimidation tactic.”

In a tweet directed at Woolf, Egeston said: “Dear Mr. Ian Woolf, Welcome to Atlanta. Years ago, forward thinkers and Civil Rights icons labeled our fair town, ‘the city too busy to hate’. What you did today on Hank Aaron Drive and blocks from the birthplace of Martin Luther King, Jr….was hateful.”

Lionsgate responded to the situation, noting that an investigation has been launched into Woolf’s alleged wild antics.

“We take acts of intimidation and threats of violence seriously and investigate them thoroughly,” the company told Deadline in a statement. “As we continue to investigate, we have sent home the individual involved.”

Woolf has reportedly been suspended amid the investigation.
