*With protective surgical masks in short supply in China, folks are getting creative when it comes to warding off the deadly coronavirus. The World Health Organization today declared the outbreak a global public health emergency, and it has taken 170 lives in China at last count.
The first video shows some people resorting to covering their heads with plastic bottles. The second video is reportedly of a woman caught trying to resell used masks found discarded in the street.
Some 8000 people have contracted coronavirus worldwide, with six confirmed cases now in the U.S.
