*Nicole Murphy appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” Tuesday and was grilled about her homewrecker label for kissing married director Antoine Fuqua back in July.
Wendy Williams pressed the “Hollywood Ex” about the lip lock, which forced Murphy to look directly into the camera and apologize publicly to Fuqua’s wife Lela Rochon.
“It was a frozen-in-time thing,” Nicole said. “Trust me, I wish it didn’t happen. It was a moment where I should’ve thought more through the situation. Make better judgments. It’s something I apologized for.”

Murphy also noted that social media exaggerated her relationship with Rochon. “At the moment, maybe I had a different impression of [their marriage],” she said.
“It was a moment that should not have happened. I regret it,” she added. “I apologized for it. I’m a human being, it was a mistake.”
When photos of their Italian kiss hit the web, Nicole quickly apologized and stated that they were “just family friends.”
As we reported earlier, Nicole initially said she and Antoine were just “family friends” and had simply exchanged a “friendly hello.” She quickly followed up with a second statement to TMZ trying to clear things up.
“Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired,” she tells TMZ.
She added: “It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in any way inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written.”
Murphy also told Williams that she did not release that statement to blogger B. Scott saying she and Fuqua “were just family friends” who “exchanged a friendly hello and that was it.”
