*Following the fatal shooting Nipsey Hussle Sunday, hundreds of fans gathered outside his Marathon Clothing shop in Los Angeles to celebrate his legacy, Complex reports.
Below are Twitter embeds of footage from the scene outside his store in the hours after his tragic death.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Nipsey’s murder appears to be gang-related. According to a heavy.com report, Hussle had long been associated with the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, one of Los Angeles’ largest street gangs.
But he allegedelly turned his life around and became an advocate for enriching his community. Nipsey was also in long term relationship with actress Lauren London and a devoted father to their son, Kross Asghedom.

As tributes to Nipsey continue to pour in across social media, so do theories about his death. Some believe he was targeted because of his plans to produce a documentary about self-proclaimed healer Dr. Sebi, a Honduran herbalist/biologist who passed away under suspicious circumstances in 2016. But this documentary may now never come to be, per heavy.com.
Meanwhile, Nipsey’s death has sparked new spins on his music, which is currently dominating the digital charts, TMZ reports. The outlet also noted that the rapper was set to join forces with Roc Nation and meet with the LAPD on Monday to discuss gang violence prevention in his Crenshaw neighborhood. That meeting, according to the report, is still going to happen at the request of Roc Nation boss Jay Brown.
Meanwhile, fans and celebs alike are heartbroken over his murder — but none perhaps more so than The Game — who posted a few videos of himself driving early Monday morning and clearly distraught about Nipsey being gunned down at his own place of business. You can’t see his face in the video but you can hear how disgusted he is. Scroll up and watch the clip above.
