*Trina and Towanda Braxton hit up The Rickey Smiley Morning Show recently with their mom Evelyn to dish on a number of topics, including Tamar’s firing from “The Real” and if it’s true that Toni is dating Birdman.
“I hope so,” Mama Evelyn said, causing shock among the hosts. “I think he is a nice man.”
“Thank you!” Trina and Towanda cosigned. In unison they said, “He’s a very nice guy!”
Evelyn added: “I don’t care what others say about him, he is a nice kid. He’s full of respect,” to which everyone shouted, “Respeck!”
Later, the conversation turned to Tamar and her firing from “The Real.” Asked if they would ever sit in for her should producers ask, Trina said, “I think the chances are slim and none. When something like that happens to your family it’s very personal. When it comes to business and when it comes to family, family comes first every time.”

Although Warner Bros has given no official reason for Tamar’s firing on May 21, the studio did make a point to clear up rumors that her co-hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley had any involvement.
Tamar has since scored her own talk show with Steve Harvey’s production company.
The last headline from this saga was Loni Love saying she still hasn’t spoken to Tamar, but wished her the best. She also said the show will eventually replace Tamar because they want to have as many differing opinions as possible. Loni said producers are already on the hunt.
