*Bruno Mars is extending his highly successful Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM with seven additional shows from May 21 to June 2.
His residency, which began in 2016, is now in its 18th leg and will reach 99 solo performances by the end of this latest run, making him the venue’s most frequent headliner. Per Billboard, the new shows will take place on May 21, 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31, and June 2. Fans can sign up for a Live Nation presale on Thursday (Jan. 30) at 1 p.m. ET through Ticketmaster (code OCTAVE), followed by the general sale on Friday (Jan. 31) beginning at 10 a.m. local time; click here for details.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mars has also set a major streaming milestone, becoming the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
His hit “Die With a Smile” has amassed 1.7 billion streams since its release in August, while his collaboration with Rosé, “Apt.,” has surpassed 1 billion streams. Despite not releasing a solo album since “24K Magic” in 2016, Mars continues to dominate both the live music scene and streaming platforms. His latest collab is with rapper Sexyy Red and the duo has released the music video for their raunchy rap anthem “Fat, Juicy & Wet.”
The video features surprise cameos from Lady Gaga and Rosé of Blackpink. The video comes days after Mars announced his desire to create a “strip club anthem” in collaboration with Sexyy Red. Watch the new visuals below.
