*Zoe Kravitz makes her directorial debut with the psychological thriller “Blink Twice.” The film takes viewers on an exciting and intriguing journey.
“Blink Twice” follows Frida, played by Naomi Ackie, a young woman struggling with her sense of identity and misplaced memories. As she tries to manifest a more luxurious lifestyle – nagging feelings keep bubbling up about her experiences and dreams. Frida encounters billionaire Slater King, (Channing Tatum), who has taken a liking to her. She begins to indulge in the lifestyle she has always dreamed of but at what cost?
With money comes power…When dealing with someone with an excessive amount of power, you may begin to lose yours. The message for women in “Blink Twice” is to take control – if they ever felt overpowered by a man. We sat down with Kravitz to discuss the film and what messaging she was trying to convey with the film.
“I think it’s about taking power back and what that looks like,” shared Kravitz. “Power dynamic is an interesting entity. For someone to be on top, someone has to be on the bottom, and I wanted to explore what that looked like.”

Kravitz’s unique approach to storytelling with “Blink Twice” will leave viewers with a captivating movie experience. She brilliantly cultivated an emotionally entertaining intense thriller. Some people know her as the daughter of entertainment legends, Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz – for me she has truly come out of the shadows of her parents’ success.
#BlinkTwiceMovie will be in theaters on August 23.
