*Tyrese Gibson is facing an active arrest warrant linked to an animal cruelty investigation after a neighbor in his Buckhead community claimed the actor’s large dogs killed their pet while running loose.
According to WSBTV, Capt. Nicole Dwyer of Fulton County Police Animal Services confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued for the actor.“It is the negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free,” Dwyer said. “And now they have killed an innocent animal.”
The investigation began on September 18 when neighbor Harrison Parker let his dog outside in his yard, secured by an invisible fence. Parker later discovered his 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Henry, dead from apparent injuries caused by an animal attack. Parker recalled, “I found my dog dead in my driveway. Not hearing him around, it’s just awful. He was one of the sweetest dogs and to have him get murdered is, it’s indescribable.”

Police reports indicate the dog had puncture wounds and severe internal bleeding. Officers are also reviewing a YouTube video in which Gibson showcased his Cane Corsos, saying, “Anybody comes to this house I want you to bite their (expletive) ankles off!”
According to the police report, Gibson’s dogs have been documented roaming loose in at least five prior incidents. One neighbor described the dogs’ size: “I couldn’t believe how big they were. They were each over 100 pounds.”
Police attempted to have Gibson surrender the dogs, but he refused. A search warrant was executed on September 22, though neither he nor the dogs were present.
“Supposedly, he’s in Dubai,” Dwyer noted. “He posted on his Instagram that he is on a mental health break in Dubai, and he won’t be back until November.”
