*Rapper Sukihana is expecting her fourth child, announcing the news while in her second trimester and describing the pregnancy as both joyful and deeply personal.
“This isn’t just about becoming a mother again,” she says in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. “It’s about growth. It’s about becoming the woman I’m meant to be.”
Sukihana called the experience a “blessing,” explaining that she wanted time to ensure her baby was healthy before going public.

“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love,” she says. “I’ve lived a lot of my life loudly, but this moment is something I wanted to protect until I was ready to share it with the world.”
She was equally candid about wanting to prioritize both her own well-being and her baby’s development before making any announcement. “I wanted to protect myself and my baby, and I wanted to make sure my baby was fully developed and healthy before I let anybody know about what was so sacred to me.”
During this stage of pregnancy, Sukihana said she has been embracing a slower pace and giving herself more flexibility. Previously committed to strict eating habits and workouts, she now allows herself to enjoy a wider variety of foods, explaining that she feels less pressure to maintain the same level of discipline.
“Before I got pregnant, I [was] very disciplined, and I wouldn’t even eat anything besides within my meal prep. So now I eat a lot of different foods, and I’m not so hard on myself,” she says.
Sukihana hopes her experience encourages women to believe they can pursue both motherhood and professional ambitions. “God made us supernatural. He made women strong.”
For Sukihana, this chapter carries a meaning that extends beyond motherhood. “I feel like it is also a rebirth for me,” she says.
Although she does not yet know the baby’s sex, she said the most important thing to her is “having a heathy baby.”
