*Snoop Dogg is set to step into a new role on the basketball court, moving from courtside fan to game analyst.
The rapper will make his broadcast debut on NBCSN and Peacock during the Clippers’ matchup against the Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome on Monday, Jan. 5. Snoop will join commentators Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller, bringing his perspective and personality to the second half of the game, Billboard reports.
“This is a dream come true for me,” Snoop Dogg said. “I’m fired up to be joining Reggie Miller and Terry Gannon on the call for the Clippers-Warriors game on Jan. 5. I can’t wait to bring a fresh vibe to the analysis while celebrating the skills and strategy these teams bring every night.”
NBC Sports executive producer Sam Flood expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “We are excited to have Snoop bring his unique energy and passion to our NBA coverage. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch Snoop, Reggie and Terry talk hoops with a side order of fun.”

In related news, Snoop Dogg will head to Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics, returning as a special correspondent for NBC’s coverage. The hip-hop star was recently named the first-ever honorary coach for Team USA at the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.
“From the moment I rolled into Paris, I was instantly welcomed into the USOPC family. I felt the energy, the pride, and the love of sport that makes this team special,” Snoop wrote on his LinkedIn profile. “The way the staff lifts up the athletes … the way the athletes inspire the world … it had me hooked from day one.”
He added, “So I’m jumping in as Team USA’s first honorary coach, a role that’s all about celebrating and supporting athletes beyond what fans see on the field of play. I’m here to bring my voice, my heart, and maybe a little wisdom from the sidelines … to help motivate Team USA, shine a light on the full athlete journey and uplift the people who make their dreams possible.”
