*Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are preparing to welcome their third child!
The couple, already parents to sons RZA and Riot Rose, made headlines again ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, where Rihanna’s baby bump was on full display. On Monday, the music and fashion icon was seen arriving at her hotel in a gray Miu Miu outfit, styled with a brown fur scarf that only partially concealed her belly. That evening, she delivered another unforgettable Met Gala appearance, while Rocky served as one of the event’s co-chairs alongside Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, and Lewis Hamilton.
A$AP Rocky confirmed Rihanna’s pregnancy during a red carpet interview at the Gala, proudly sharing the news that they’re expecting baby number three. The rapper previously reflected on fatherhood’s impact on his life and creativity. “I take it as a badge of honor,” he said on The Run-Through With Vogue, noting that raising two young boys with Rihanna has given his work deeper meaning.
Rihanna, 37, has never shied away from her openness to expanding her family. In a 2024 Interview Magazine feature, she told Mel Ottenberg, “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two… I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.” She emphasized, “I’ll have as many as God wants me to have.”
Adding a playful twist to the pregnancy news, attorney Joe Tacopina, who defended Rocky in a high-profile assault case, claimed the couple joked about naming the baby after him. “Rihanna and Rocky said to me in the courtroom yesterday… ‘Our next baby is A$AP Joe,’” he told Extra.

The pregnancy announcement comes a year after Rocky was acquitted of assault charges stemming from a 2021 incident involving former friend A$AP Relli. The February 2024 not-guilty verdict was met with emotional celebration from the couple in a packed Los Angeles courtroom.
