
*Ray J took to social media over the weekend to address what he characterized as a tumultuous chapter in his life. Posting a video message on Instagram this past Sunday, the 45-year-old expressed appreciation for those who stood by him during difficult times.
“Thank y’all for the love today, man. God is good. Something’s new, something’s gonna change this year,” he stated in the video, per Complex. Ray J went on to acknowledge the challenges of 2025, describing them as part of a “crash out campaign” before promising his supporters a different path forward.
“Sincerely, thank you for all your prayers. Thank you for all the love, all the criticism. Last year was a crazy year, it was a ‘crash out campaign.’ It was intense but God made it through and put us in the right position,” he explained.

Ray J assured his followers that a meaningful transformation was on the horizon. “I promise y’all, this is gonna be a really, really different wave that we on now. All jokes aside, I love y’all and I appreciate y’all, thank you,” he added.
“Thank you to my family too, my mom, my dad, my sister, for having my back in this critical time. My sister came through for me, man, I needed her,” he shared.
The caption accompanying his video revealed deeper details about his recent hardships. “I walked through a season meant to break me. Jail, sickness, silence, and loss all at once. I take full accountability for my mistakes. God still spared my life when I didn’t deserve it. That alone humbles me. My family covered me. Your prayers carried me,” Ray J wrote.
He also addressed personal battles with substance use and the impact on his relationship with his children. “My health forced me to put the bottle down and face myself. To the ones who love me and the ones who counted me out, thank you. I love you – ON GOD – I miss my kids so much. I will be with you soon,” the post continued.
Ray’s sister Brandy responded in the comment section. “I love you so much bro and I’m here for you until the end -and after that [red heart emoji] God Bless you and your journey. We will get through everything together! #sis,” she wrote.
