*Raising Cane’s continued its holiday tradition by partnering with hip-hop legend Flavor Flav to bring bikes and helmets to children in need.
The duo donated 100 bikes to Communities in Schools of Nevada, a nonprofit focused on supporting at-risk students to stay in school. The event took place at the chain’s new Fremont Street location in Las Vegas on Monday. Flavor Flav spoke to The Blast about the personal significance of the initiative. “The kids and not only that, it’s the love for Christmas and the love for holidays. You love to see happiness on people’s faces,” he said.
“The thing that goes through my mind was when I was a kid. When I had gotten my first bike, it was one of the best feelings ever in the world as a kid. So that’s what it takes me back to, all the way back to my childhood,” he added.

This event is part of Raising Cane’s sixth annual bike giveaway. Following last year’s distribution of 2,500 bikes, the company is scaling up nationally this holiday season, providing over 4,000 bikes and helmets. Collaborations with children’s groups and celebrity participants play a key role in these initiatives.
Flavor Flav has worked with Raising Cane’s on prior occasions, including the “Flavor Fest” promotion and a bike donation event in Las Vegas in 2024. He described the partnership as a joyful experience, stating, “Raising Cane’s is full of me – flavor!”
He continued, “Also, it’s just a wonderful treatment that I get from the owner (Todd Graves). Todd, thank you for all of the love and thanks for having me. Raising Cane’s is the funnest campaign I’ve ever done in my life.”
