*Post Malone shared the stage with NBA legend Allen Iverson at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on May 24, for a memorable performance of “White Iverson.”
The electrifying moment came during Malone’s The Big Ass Stadium Tour, co-headlined with Jelly Roll, delivering a heartfelt nod to the city’s basketball icon who inspired the 2015 breakout hit.
Iverson, a Philadelphia 76ers hero, joined Malone for a country-infused rendition of the song. Malone later shared his enthusiasm on Instagram, captioning a video of the performance: “ALLEN IVERSON LADIES & GENTLEMEN!!!” Iverson reciprocated the love, posting, “Being a inspiration is golden! Shout out to @postmalone and shout out to Philadelphia! Ain’t nothing like Philly love!”
The collaboration was a powerful tribute to Iverson’s enduring legacy as a cultural bridge between basketball and hip-hop.
Malone and Iverson crossed paths previosuly in 2017, when they met and bonded over their shared influence. “I met the legend last night and there’d be no ‘White Iverson’ without him,” Malone told Billboard at the time. “I’m still tripping at how sick it was, and as A.I. says, ‘The culture has no boundaries.’”

“White Iverson,” released in 2015, became a defining track for Malone, peaking at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Diamond certification from the RIAA.
Iverson spent 12 seasons with the 76ers and led the team to the 2001 NBA Finals, earning the league’s MVP award that same year.
