*Fathom Entertainment has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming crime drama “Moses the Black,” set to hit theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026.
Inspired by the life of the fourth-century saint of the same name, the movie follows Chicago gangster Malik on a transformative journey. Omar Epps stars as Malik, while Wiz Khalifa takes on the role of 2wo-3ree, the unpredictable leader of Malik’s crew. Hip-hop star Quavo plays Straw, Malik’s rival gang leader, and Chukwudi Iwuji embodies St. Moses the Black. Yelena Popovic, known for “Man of God,” directs the film.
The movie combines suspense, moral introspection, and contemporary relevance, with an original soundtrack executive-produced by Wiz Khalifa featuring Quavo. Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson called the film “about redemption and real change. It’s raw, it’s emotional, and it’s powerful. I can’t wait for audiences to see it.”

Supporting cast members include Corey Hendrix, Cliff Chamberlain, Ahmad Ferguson, Sambou “Bubba” Camara, Kierra Bunch, Skilla Baby, and former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Production is led by Alexandros Potter and Yelena Popovic, with executive producers 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Omar Epps, and the Nick Mirkopoulos Cinematic Fund.
Tickets for “Moses the Black” are available now through Fathom Entertainment and participating theaters.
