*Disney Jr. is taking Mickey Mouse and friends to the farm this summer.
The network announced that “Mickey’s Country Farm,” a new full-length “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” special, will premiere July 30 at 7 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Jr. and Disney Jr. on Demand. The special will begin streaming on Disney+ the following day.
Disney also released a first look at the upcoming special, offering fans a preview of a new musical number featuring Mickey, Minnie and the gang alongside guest character Lasso Lucy, voiced by Megan Hilty.
The preview showcases “Hoedown Throwdown,” a new version of the song and dance made famous by Disney Legend Miley Cyrus in “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” The updated track will arrive on streaming platforms as a standalone single on June 26. Watch the clip above.

In “Mickey’s Country Farm,” Mickey and his friends use newly introduced farm vehicles to create the Fairest Farm Fair. Along the way, they hope to impress Daisy’s cowgirl hero, Lasso Lucy, and convince her to stop by.
The country-themed fun will continue beyond the special itself. Following the release of “Hoedown Throwdown,” the soundtrack “Disney Jr. Music: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ – Mickey’s Country Farm” will debut on streaming services July 31.
Disney Jr. will also roll out a series of “Mickey’s Country Farm Songs” shorts on July 27 across Disney Jr. and Disney+. Another new short, “Mickey and Minnie Farm,” from the “Disney Jr. Play Break” series, premieres July 30 on Disney+.
Fans can also expect new merchandise inspired by the special later this summer. Just Play plans to release several products, including a Mickey Mouse Hoedown Throwdown Plush and a Barnyard Fun Playset.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” continues the Emmy Award-winning preschool series for a new generation of viewers. Rob LaDuca serves as executive producer, with Sy Thomas as art director and Mike Himelstein as songwriter and composer. Kim Duran is co-producer and story editor, while Mark Drop also serves as story editor.
Disney Television Animation produces the series as part of Disney Kids & Family.
