*Federal prosecutors have expanded their case against rapper Lil Durk and his co-defendants with a superseding indictment that adds a racketeering murder charge and new federal allegations, LA Magazine reports.
A grand jury returned the updated indictment on June 3. It includes Murder in Aid of Racketeering and Conspiracy to Commit Stalking. Prosecutors say the additions strengthen their case ahead of trial.
The filing also revises a firearms charge. Prosecutors now link it more directly to the racketeering murder allegation. They made the change after a recent Supreme Court ruling affecting how courts interpret related charges.
Prosecutors also said the revised structure undercuts a defense motion to dismiss the firearms count. They argue the updated indictment ties the gun charge to the broader racketeering case.

Authorities previously told defense lawyers they intended to add allegations from other incidents. Those include a Chicago homicide and an Atlanta shooting. Court documents list alleged victims only as “S.M.” and “A.W.”
The expanded indictment indicates that jurors may hear evidence about events beyond the August 2022 shooting in Los Angeles, which sits at the center of this case. Prosecutors say the shooting killed Saviay’a Robinson, known as Lul Pab. The case focuses on allegations that Durk took part in a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo. Prosecutors claim the group formed the plan to retaliate for the 2020 killing of rapper King Von, a close friend of Durk.
According to investigators, the attack targeted Quando Rondo outside a Los Angeles-area gas station. Rondo survived the shooting, but Robinson died at the scene. Prosecutors say Robinson was not the intended target.
Authorities also allege members of the Chicago-based collective Only The Family helped coordinate the attack. They claim the group managed travel and logistics across state lines as part of the alleged scheme.
Durk has pleaded not guilty. His attorneys say he did not finance, direct, or participate in any violence. They also call the indictment an attempt to strengthen a weak case before trial.
The trial is scheduled to begin on August 20, 2026.
