
*Kevin Durant’s Boardroom is teaming with Amazon’s Wondery to expand its podcasts, digital shows, live events, and fan experiences.
The partnership gives Wondery exclusive rights to distribute and sell ads for Boardroom’s podcasts and digital series. The agreement also includes new brand opportunities around Boardroom’s live events and annual Twitch livestreams featuring Durant, Variety reports.
Boardroom launched in 2019 with a focus on sports, entertainment, and business. Its programming includes the “Cover Story” and “Boardroom Talks” franchises, with Durant, his business partner Rich Kleiman, Taylor Rooks, and Speedy Morman among the rotating hosts. Boardroom says its media network reaches more than 52 million unique visitors each month.
Wondery will begin distributing Boardroom’s audio and video series in early 2027. The shows will appear across Prime Video, Amazon Music, and free ad-supported Fire TV Channels. Viewers and listeners will still be able to find the programming on Boardroom’s YouTube channel, Boardroom.TV and podcast platforms.
Amazon said the deal will “supercharge” Boardroom’s live events and “unlock new advertising opportunities across video and social channels.” Those events include programming tied to the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Weekend, and other major sports and entertainment moments.
“We built Boardroom knowing that fans care just as much about the culture behind sports, music and entertainment as we do. We’re excited to work with the best-in-class team at Amazon to bring that insider access to even more fans worldwide,” Durant said in a statement.
Matt Sandler, general manager of creator services at Amazon, described Boardroom as “one of the most compelling brands at the intersection of business, sports, and entertainment.”
“We can’t wait to get to work expanding Boardroom’s footprint, connecting with even bigger audiences, and creating fresh opportunities for brands to work with Boardroom’s media and signature live events,” Sandler said.
Kleiman, Boardroom’s CEO, called the deal a major step for the company.
“This has been a tremendous year of growth for us at Boardroom, and working alongside the Amazon team to amplify everything we have built starting in 2027 is going to bring us to a new level,” Kleiman said.
