*JAY-Z filed an extortion countersuit against attorney Tony Buzbee, last November, in response to Buzbee’s lawsuit, which alleged that Jay and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sexually assaulted the Jane Doe plaintiff when she was just 13 years old.
The hip-hop star has reportedly made amendments to the lawsuit. Per The Jasmine Brand, in the motion, Jay wrote: “I felt that Mr. Buzbee was placing a gun to my head that I either bow to his demands or endure personal and financial ruin…I was harshly criticized by others for accompanying my daughter to the premiere of her movie a day after Mr. Buzbee filed the Jane Doe lawsuit against me. Media outlets reported that Disney was hesitant over my attendance at the premiere because of the accusations.”
He continued: “I feel that Mr. Buzbee purposely filed this lawsuit on the eve of my daughter’s premiere to put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage.”
We previously reported that Jane Doe has withdrawn her lawsuit against JAY-Z. The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. The plaintiff voluntarily submitted the dismissal on Friday, though no reason was provided.
Following the decision, Jay expressed relief, stressing that the woman’s rape accusations were untrue.

“The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” he said in a statement on Roc Nation’s X account.
“I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, my loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed,” Jigga added.
“This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed.”
