*Let me tell you something about minivans and single women. These are the new limos. I don’t care what anyone says, but a premium minivan with all the fixings is delivering the best of luxurious rides for the ladies.
The 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum AWD was such a fun ride for a girls-trip me and my sorority sisters took. From the minifridge (yup!) to the reclining back seats, we had a ball. Let’s get into it.
The Look: In a popular vehicle segment, the 2025 Sienna Platinum AWD makes a refined statement. Its exterior retains the sleek, Shinkansen-inspired lines first introduced in 2021, now refreshed for 2025 with new two-tone 18-inch wheels. Chrome accents on the grille and wraparound LED taillights add a premium touch. Essentially, it’s cute! Not like your typical minivan.
Now girl! The inside is where all the magic is happening. The cabin feels both spacious and upscale, thanks to a sweeping dash and an expansive center console that stretches into the second row. It offers plenty of easily accessible storage space for purses, snacks, or whatever your dear heart desires. The Platinum trim includes leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, plush second-row captain’s chairs with super-long-slide capability and ottomans, and elegant woodgrain or gloss accents throughout. It doesn’t feel like a minivan at all.
I mentioned the minifridge. Well, for those who get minivans for their small humans, a vacuum comes standard in this trim as well! Those long trips with friends or kids just got so much better. Plus, the rear seats are totally adjustable, creating more cargo space or leg room for whatever you need that day. I love that this vehicle is so customizable. One thing that was missing was device holders for movie watching.
The Drive: If you’re into all the technical stuff, underneath the hood, the Sienna remains loyal to its hybrid roots—a 2.5 L Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder paired with dual electric motors (plus a rear motor for AWD), totaling 245 horsepower and it’s incredible on gas at 36 mpg combined for AWD versions. On-road driving is confident and composed, with nimble steering, smooth ride quality, and refined body control. You’re not hitting the highway at incredible speeds, but the power is felt upon acceleration.
The Tech: It looks like Toyota overhauls the Sienna’s tech offerings in this model. Platinum variants now come standard with a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen that delivers faster performance than Toyota’s previous system, along with an optional 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. And like I mentioned before, the integrated vacuum and console “FridgeBox™” allow families to keep things clean and refreshments cold.
Safety-wise, the Sienna is giving you all the goods with its upgraded Toyota Safety Sense, which comes standard across all trims. You’ll get radar cruise control, lane-tracing assist, and pedestrian detection.
Don’t sleep on the 2025 Sienna Platinum AWD. It proves that minivans can indeed be the first choice for families and single ladies! Giving drivers and passengers top design, comfort, and innovation. While the infotainment interface isn’t as slick as some rivals, the Sienna makes its mark through thoughtful execution and interior flexibility.
