As The Advocate reports, in the 16-second clip, Egbewole, a frequent Fox News guest, makes insinuations about his sexuality and recent wedding to Alexis Lewis. “Okay, so Corey Booker got married and … to a woman, and this is just very interesting, just an interesting update about Cory Booker. Cory Booker married a woman. He is now happily married,” she said in the video. “Will a married Booker run for 2028?” she asked in the caption.
Former colleagues describe Egbewole’s video as consistent with private behavior in the White House. One ex official said, “I was pretty alarmed by the video, but I wasn’t surprised.” The insider added that Egbewole had made anti-LGBTQ+ remarks. Another former aide said, “She’s nice to people she thinks she needs and bullies everyone else.”

“This kind of video is offensive both because you should never make jokes about people’s sexuality, but also just offensive for someone who worked in our White House,” the staffer said, emphasizing that Egbewole’s comments erased bisexual identity. They noted that Egbewole’s public shift as a Fox News personality reflects a longstanding pattern: “Maybe on Fox News, she doesn’t feel a need to hide it anymore.”
TikTok users had mixed reactions to the video, some reacted strongly to Egbewole’s emphasis on “to a woman,” with one person commenting, “‘To a woman’ had me screaming.” Other pushed back, writing, “Why are we shading Cory Booker?” and “He’s a good man doing good work.
