According to SandraRose.com, Morgan entered a guilty plea on February 11, in Kings County Supreme Criminal Court on charges of grand larceny along with the falsification of 23 business records. Morgan, 45, previously held the top leadership role at the Okra Project, where the activist earned a $200,000 salary. According to prosecutors, he funneled the stolen funds toward personal expenses, including clothing purchases, a luxury closet renovation costing $19,000, and recurring payments on a Mercedes-Benz.
A sentencing hearing has been set for April 29, 2026 and Morgan could receive a prison sentence of up to 15 years.

Morgan had a professional connection to reality personality Ts Madison, who brought the activist on board to oversee the Madison Starter House in the Atlanta area. The property, which was Madison’s former residence, was repurposed as a shelter and resource center for transgender individuals and opened its doors in 2024.
Madison shared the personal motivation behind donating her home in an interview with Forbes. “When I first came up with the idea to donate my first house to charity, I thought about how I moved to Atlanta homeless, broke, poor, sick from silicone poisoning, and with no sense of direction or place to go,” she said.
“One of my trans sisters took me in and became like a second mother to me. She motivated me and gave me the tools to start over and make it on my own,” Ts Madison added.
