*Even from behind bars, Sean “Diddy” Combs is apparently already thinking about his next big party. Sources close to the rap mogul say he is mapping out what could be the most extravagant celebration of his career — one timed to coincide with his exit from federal prison.
“He wants the biggest release party he’s ever thrown,” a source said, per Rob Shuter’s Substack. “Bigger than the White Parties. Bigger than anything. He wants it to feel like a coronation.” The bold ambitions come as court and prison records confirm his projected release date has been moved up to April 25, 2028, several weeks ahead of the previously expected June 4, 2028 date.
The 56-year-old music mogul is currently serving his sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution, a low-security facility in New Jersey. He received a four-year prison term on October 3, 2025, with five years of supervised release to follow, after a jury found him guilty on July 2 of two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution involving Cassie Ventura, another former girlfriend, and male sex workers. The jury cleared him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
His earlier release is tied to participation in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), and his team says he is fully committed to the process. “Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start. He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change,” his rep stated.

Insiders describe a man treating this period as a launchpad rather than a low point. “He doesn’t think going to jail ends him,” one source said. “He thinks this refines him.”
The outlook extends to how he sees his public image upon return. “He believes the public loves a redemption arc,” an insider shared. “And he’s planning his.”
One confidant warned “Don’t expect him to disappear,” adding, “The second those gates open, he’ll be everywhere.”
