*According to Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, the Grammy‑winning superstar has been perfecting a cocktail that brings serious heat.
While promoting her best‑selling memoir “The Matriarch” on Scott Evans’ YouTube series House Guest, Ms. Tina surprised the host with a bottle of Beyoncé’s SirDavis whiskey and a pitcher of her daughter’s homemade jalapeño punch, PEOPLE reports.
Evans had just mixed his own peach‑sweet‑tea cocktail when Knowles teased an even bolder option. “I brought a mix that Beyoncé put together, but you can try that later because the tea was really good,” she said. Moments later, the promised drink appeared.
“This is her recipe,” Knowles explained, pouring the vibrant concoction. “She plays around with all this…the juices, and she put jalapeño in it.” Evans noted the generous pepper infusion, prompting Knowles to laugh: “She’s spicy, what can I say?”
The pair added a half‑shot of SirDavis before Evans took a sip, then admitted, “I don’t want to like this as much as I do.”

Before digging into their Creole‑inspired dinner, the duo toasted Knowles’ late brother Johnny, a figure she honors in her memoir and Beyoncé references on the Renaissance track “Heated.”
Queen Bey launched SirDavis last year, with the brand describing it as a unique take on whisky with its “bespoke recipe,” unconventional maturation process, and distinctive flavor profile inspired by Japanese and Scottish traditions, AfroTech reported.
“I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” said Beyoncé, per the press release.
“When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy,” she added.
“In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis,” said Bey.
