*Beyoncé has reached a new financial milestone, officially becoming a billionaire, according to Forbes.
The achievement places her among a select group of musicians who have crossed the ten-figure threshold through a combination of touring, entertainment projects, and business ownership. Beyoncé is now the fifth musician to reach billionaire status. She joins an exclusive list that includes Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna, NBC News reports.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the milestone drew praise from her father and former Destiny’s Child manager, Mathew Knowles. Sharing his reaction publicly, he wrote, “I am so very proud of my daughter. She worked hard and it paid off!”

A major driver of her rise has been the unprecedented success of her live performances. In 2023, Beyoncé’s 39-city Renaissance tour spanned 56 shows, bringing in more than $500 million in revenue and attracting over 2.7 million fans worldwide. The tour became one of the most commercially successful live music events of the decade.
Her impact extended beyond the concert stage and into theaters. “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” debuted at the top of the box office during its opening weekend in December 2023, generating $21 million in ticket sales.
Beyoncé continued that momentum with the “Cowboy Carter Tour,” which grossed more than $400 million. According to Pollstar, the tour stands as the highest-grossing country tour in history.
Much of her financial success has been credited to her business infrastructure. Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010, a company that allows her to manage music releases, documentaries, and concert production internally. Forbes noted that Parkwood fronts most production costs, enabling Beyoncé to retain greater control over long-term earnings.
