*Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter, Simone, hit up social media to confirm her relationship with NXT wrestler Tatyanna Dumas. The couple shared an Instagram reel from their joint account, @bigupsofficial, captioned, “From day one.. to everything time can’t erase,” signaling their romance to fans.

“Wrestling couple of the year…. I just made the award up but they would be the winners by far ❤️,” one Instagram user commented under the pair’s post. Another added, “Love…..it truly is a beautiful thing when the right person comes along ?❤️ happy for y’all!!”

According to Complex, Tatyanna and Simone, who signed with WWE under her stage name Ava Raine, have been making headlines since September 2025, when they attended the UK screening of Johnson’s film, “The Smashing Machine.”

Ava Raine now serves as General Manager of the NXT brand, while Dumas recently debuted on-screen on WWE’s LFG show. The Rock acknowledged the couple in a post, playfully writing, “Break out the Teremana ladies!” in reference to his tequila brand, showing his support.

Meanwhile, Johnson is preparing to receive the Entertainment Icon Award at the 8th American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Honors in February 2026. The ceremony, hosted by comedian KevOnStage, will be held on February 16 at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.

ABFF co-CEOs Jeff Friday and Nicole Friday praised Johnson, saying, “Dwayne Johnson is the very definition of an entertainment icon… From his trailblazing career in sports entertainment to his extraordinary success in film and television, he has become one of the most influential and beloved figures in global culture.”

The 2026 ABFF Honors will also celebrate other industry figures, including Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson receiving the Renaissance Award, director Salli Richardson-Whitfield earning the Evolution Award, and actor Damson Idris being recognized with the Horizon Award. Additionally, a special tribute will honor the creative team behind Ryan Coogler’s horror film *Sinners*, which grossed $367 million worldwide, acknowledging its cultural and artistic impact.
