*Whirlpool has partnered with Outkast’s Big Boi to unveil a unique sweepstakes featuring five limited-edition Whirlpool Front Load Washers.
These exclusive machines feature a Big Boi-signed badge and play Outkast’s iconic “So Fresh, So Clean” after every wash cycle. Fans can enter to win one from August 19 to September 23, 2025, via Whirlpool and Big Boi’s Instagram sweepstakes post. In a new interview, Big Boi shared his enthusiasm: “I’m super fantastic, phenomenally well, perfectly whole, complete, blessed, highly favored.”
As The Blast reports, the machines are adorned with a matte black finish and thousands of hand-placed crystals. Discussing the collaboration, Big Boi said, “They called up and was like, you know, the kings of ‘so fresh, so clean’ and the washing machine kings need to get together.”
The rapper added, “We are on theme, we are on code, we got the same mission – to be the cleanest that we can be and the freshest we can be, and they was like, we want to put your song on the new Whirlpool washing machine. I thought it was just a chime, but they have the original track playing at the end of the wash cycle, so I was like, oh man, that’s dope, I gotta do it.”

To enter the sweepstakes, fans must follow WhirlpoolUSA on Instagram, like the sweepstakes post, and comment #whirlpoolsofresh. Tagging a friend grants an extra entry, and winners will be notified via Instagram DM.
Big Boi also shared a laundry tip he recently learned: “Don’t wash white socks with black t-shirts. I just learned this lesson.”
He explained, “Maybe a couple weeks ago, couple months ago, I started doing laundry, it’s kind of therapeutic when I’m at home, and my mom showed me how to put bleach in and to make my socks back white. I was always terrified of bleach when I was young because I just always thought it would tear your clothes up.”
