*Tyrese’s remake of “Wildflower,” a tribute to his late mother, has climbed to No. 8 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, marking his ninth top 10 hit.
The track is a cover of The New Birth’s 1973 song, and appears on his latest album “Beautiful Pain,” released on August 30. “Wildflower” is co-produced by David Foster and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, and marks Tyrese’s first top 10 airplay entry since “Don’t Think You Ever Loved Me,” featuring Lenny Kravitz and Le’Andria Johnson peaked at No. 2 in July 2023, Rated RnB reports.

Next month, Tyese will reunite with his TGT bandmates, Ginuwine and Tank, for The R&B Forever Tour which kicks off October 4 in Inglewood, California, with Bell Biv DeVoe joining as co-headliners.

Last year, Tyrese announced that he, Ginuwine, and Tank are reuniting and plan to release new music.
“I got some great news for you, Tank and J,” Tyrese revealed at the time, Hip Hop DX reports. “Atlantic Records has officially agreed to sign TGT for a second album.”
TNT made its debut in 2013 with their “Three Kings” album on Atlantic Records. The group disbanded in 2015 after disagreements with the record label. Back in 2016, TMZ caught up with Tank who said Tyrese was to blame for the group calling it quits because he wanted too much money.
