Tyler Perry was spotted at Usher’s concert this week throwing fake dollar bills at one of the singer’s dancers.
According to Vibe, a talent manager named Anisa posted a clip showing the filmmaker at the Oct. 20 show watching a dancer twerk on stage before placing some of Usher’s artificial currency called Usher Bucks around her. As Perry walks away, Usher, who is watching the moment go down, walks over saying, “Uh uh, come back, come back,” before giving Perry more Usher Bucks. Watch the moment via the Instagram clip below.
In the post’s comments, one person wrote, “He just doing research for his next film.”
Another fan added, “I like how everyone is enjoying themselves and staying focused on Usher. It’s his show after all. Tyler wasn’t tryna be seen.”

Several Perry fans had mixed reviews about his antics at Usher’s show, with some calling him s “fake” Christian.
In the comments of Vibe Magazine’s Instagram post, one person noted, “So let me put this out here, You can not be in a woman’s butt, and try to Preach God’s word to people!!!!! God will nor be mocked!!!! I am sick and tired of these on the straddle fence Christians…. Yall better wake up and know, the Devil is a counterfeiter of blessing. So what you see him have, the devil can give also!!!”
Another wrote, “If he is a pastor he ain’t even trying to be a good follower of Christ. But if he’s not a believer then cool that’s on him. Some of yall think it’s ok to just sin like it’s all good and be a believer.”
