*A new comedy series featuring Tracy Morgan is hitting Paramount+ this fall. “CRUTCH,” a CBS Studios production, will debut all eight episodes on Monday, November 3, exclusively on the streaming platform.
The show follows Francois “Frank” Crutchfield, known as “Crutch,” a charismatic Harlem shop owner whose life gets chaotic when his grown children move back home.

The series, set in the same universe as the CBS comedy “The Neighborhood,” boasts a talented cast alongside Morgan. Jermaine Fowler, Kecia Lewis, Adrianna Mitchell, Adrian Martinez, Braxton Paul, and Finn Maloney round out the ensemble. “CRUTCH” is created by Owen Smith, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
On the same night as the premiere, Morgan will appear as Crutch in a special episode of “The Neighborhood,” airing at 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. In the episode titled “Welcome to Family Value,” “Calvin (Cedric The Entertainer) reaches out to his cousin Crutch (Tracy Morgan) to get Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) a sweet deal on a new floor. However, Crutch insists on coming to L.A. to oversee the work himself, where he drives Tina (Tichina Arnold) crazy — and reveals an emotional vulnerability.”
“CRUTCH” comes from Cedric The Entertainer’s production company, A Bird and a Bear Entertainment, with Cedric and Eric C. Rhone as executive producers. Additional executive producers include Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling, Mike Mariano, and Morgan himself. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside Paramount+ markets, promising a fresh addition to the platform’s growing comedy lineup.
