Todd Bridges Finances Surface In Unrelated Court Battle
*New court filings have unexpectedly revealed details about Todd Bridges‘ finances. The disclosures emerged during a legal dispute involving his now-estranged wife, Bettijo Hirschi.
The documents were obtained by Us Weekly and filed in a case unrelated to Bridges himself. Still, the information paints a stark picture of the former child star’s income.
Court Documents Show Modest Monthly Income
According to the filings, Todd Bridges earned roughly $700 per month in 2024. That income was reported in the year leading up to his separation from Hirschi.
Hirschi described Bridges, now 60, as semi-retired with inconsistent earnings. She shared the details during an October 16, 2025, court hearing: “My husband is semi-retired, so he doesn’t have a very stable income.”

$700 A Month Became Household Reality
When pressed by the judge, Hirschi clarified exactly how limited the income was. She explained that Todd Bridges’ finances were a key factor in their household budget.
The $700 monthly amount, she said, was relied upon despite its unpredictability.
“He makes, like, $700 or something a month, around there, that we rely on.”
Bettijo Hirschi Covered Most Household Expenses
The court documents show Hirschi paid the majority of the couple’s expenses. This included the mortgage on the home they shared.
Bridges reportedly contributed when possible through occasional contract work. Those payments were described as sporadic rather than dependable.
“He does help with food when he gets extra payments, cause he does, like, contract work.”
Why Todd Bridges Finances Became Court Evidence
The income details surfaced during a legal fight between Hirschi and her first husband, Heath Hirschi. Heath sought to reduce or end spousal support after her remarriage.
The former couple divorced in 2021 and initially agreed to $2,700 monthly payments through 2031. Those terms came under review after Bettijo married Bridges.
Ex-Husband Claimed Financial Hardship
Heath argued that Bettijo’s remarriage changed her financial situation. He referred to Bridges as a “well-known Hollywood actor.”
He also claimed Bettijo had income as a designer and lifestyle blogger. Heath told the court he suffered severe financial hardship following the COVID-19 recession.

Court Ruling Adjusted Support Obligations
In December 2025, the court reduced Heath’s obligations significantly. He was ordered to pay $1,206 per month in child support.
The ruling also included $43,401.96 in past support. The former couple retained joint legal decision-making for their two children.
Separation Announcement Followed One Month Later
Just weeks after the ruling, Bridges announced his separation from Hirschi. The couple had been married for three years.
Bridges shared the news in a statement released January 14.
“After much prayer and reflection, my spouse and I have made the difficult decision to separate.”
He described the decision as coming with a heavy heart. Bridges also asked for privacy as they move forward separately.
